Jio, Airtel, VI (Vodafone + Idea) has started charging for using SIM Cards, You have to recharge of minimum of Rs.35 or as per operators tariff, to keep your sim card active or you have to recharge for any unlimited plan to increase your validity.
Here we explain how you can update your sim validity using your main balance. You don’t need to do Special Recharge worth Rs.35 to update your SIM Validity. If you have sufficient balance then you can do it directly using your Mobile Balance.
For JIO Users
- Just Open MyJio app
- Go to Recharge option
- Select Non-IUC recharge tab and select Smartphone Plans
- Select your favourite pack and there you can see the recharge through main balance option if you have sufficient balance
You can also Do Top-up Recharge, Data Pack Recharge, Cricket Special Plan Recharge.
For VI (Vodafone + Idea) Users
- Dial *199# and select the relevant option to activate a data pack or any other bonus card from your available balance.
- You can also download the Vi™ App and choose the relevant pack >> Pay by balance.
- This option is available only for selective packs.
- Please note that the charges will be deducted from your available prepaid account balance.
- There are other Recharge Packs available including Plan Voucher of ₹24 / Smart Recharge
Must Note – Remember carefully.. the packs gets activated instantly without asking confirmation (Like press 1 to activate).. So don’t dial any of the options unless required, else the pack gets activated without any confirmation if you have sufficient balance.
For Airtel Users
First Method :
- Dial *121*51#
- This will Deduct Rs.23 from Main Balance and you will get 28 Days Validity In Your Airtel SIM card.
Second Method :
- Dial- *121#
- Now Just select these option – smart pack Then Rs.23/- recharge Pack
- Then reply 1 to activate.
